Description

The VTrak ? 12110 RAID Storage System from Promise Technology, Inc. is optimized for organizations deploying small to medium application clusters, disk-to-disk backup and direct-attach storage solutions. Its dual Ultra 160 SCSI host interface ports offer ease of management and performance for running departmental and back-office applications including file/print, email, light database and Web services. The VTrak ? 12110 packs up to 12 drives per system in just 2U of standard 19'' rack space, thus optimizing density and increasing capacity per unit of rack space. Multiple VTrak systems can be daisy chained using standard SCSI bus features to deliver massive storage to capacity-hungry applications such as disk-to-disk backup and media archiving. And with LUN Carving technology, up to 16 logical drives (LUNs) per disk array and 64 total LUNs per subsystem can be created for optimal application placement and protection. Enterprise-ready features like fully redundant power and cooling, and a battery-backed cache, in addition to technologies like Predictive Data and deliver high levels of availability and data integrity. The VTrak ? 12110 supports six RAID levels 0, 1, 3, 5, 10 and 50 and comes bundled with Promise Array Management monitoring software that offers professional management tools in a simple-to-use, straightforward format.
